ODAS Park The Orillia District Agricultural Society PICKLEBALL
ODAS Membership Application Self Rating Systems ODAS FALL SCHEDULE - Minor details may change depending on circumstances. With the pandemic still a concern we are presenting players with an opportunity to enjoy pickleball in a relatively safe and controlled environment. For those of you who may never have played at ODAS, the facility offers four well spaced courts in an arena that easily accommodates social distancing. At this point, we feel that drop-in pickleball presents a variety of health challenges so we are opting to provide controlled groups that limit the number of players in the building at any one time. You will be playing in a small, stable group of known participants. In order to do this we are going with league formats for the Fall session. To participate in a league you must pre-enter and commit to playing on a stated day and time for the full 12 weeks of organized play. When you join one of the leagues, you will play with the same 16-20 players for the duration of the league. Most of the leagues will be the same format as Rotary Place with a limit of 20 players. There will be no requirement to find a substitute player if you are unable to attend one of the sessions. LEAGUE OPTIONS – Starting September 21 and running until December 14. All leagues will run for 12 weeks from the week of September 21 to December 14. There will be no league play on Monday, October 12 for Thanksgiving. Fun league tournaments will take place December 15 to December 21. We will send out information about entering by August 15 and begin taking entries at that time. Each individual league will cost $40.00 for 12 sessions of play. ($3.33 per session) We will offer a special promotion for those interested in multiple leagues which will allow you to choose 3 leagues for $100.00 so 36 sessions of play. If you pre-register before September 1, you can choose another league at no extra cost! This is a great deal for all you addicts out there! ($2.08 per session). Additional leagues over and above 4 will be $30.00 each. We are also in the process of organizing lessons and clinics for those looking to start the game or improve their skill level. Stay tuned for more updates in the next few weeks and remember in order to play at ODAS you must be a member of Pickleball Ontario and ODAS Park. We welcome your comments, suggestions and feedback.
